Kin Kao Song is a group of young entrepreneurs operating an intimate, modern Thai restaurant. We are currently hiring full-time, permanent 2 Cooks for our lunch and dinner service. (We can consider Part-time as well as Full-time applicants) Employer: Kin Kao Investment Group Inc. o/a Kin Kao Song Work location: 317 E Broadway, Vancouver, BC, V5T 1W5Wage and benefit: $17.00/hr~$20.00/hr (depending on experience), 30-36hr/wk, 4% paid vacation. Overtime: Overtime rate provided after 8hrs/day, and 40hrs/wk Education: Completion of Secondary School Experience: At least 1-2 years of work experience or completion of equivalent in accredited training program for (Ethnic) food Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent Job position available: 2Language: English Job duties: -Prepare and cook complete meal course or individual dishes using recipes and food products for Thai food-Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolernace-Prepare and cook special meals for patients as isntructed by chef-Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers and oversee kitchen operations-Maintain records of food, inventory, supplies, and equipment or order supplies-Clean work area and kitchen and maintain workstation clean-Maintain food inventory, and supervise kitchen helpers-May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs We welcome applications from underrepresented groups, such as Indigenous, Newimmigrants, Youth etc. ).
