Business Development Manager : Aerospace and Defence Location: Bristol, Remote Salary: circa A GBP 53,000 per annum Our client is a multi: award: winning business that provides digital innovation for people, place, and the planet. They combine expertise in research, design, and software engineering to fuel business growth. Current customers include Qineti Q, Rolls Royce, Yodel, Department for Transport, and the NHS. The business is now experiencing their own period of growth and are looking for a Business Development Manager : Aerospace and Defence. The Role This role will be critical in nurturing client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. It will act as a bridge between the company and its clients, working to align business objectives and deliver exceptional service in the following areas. Main Responsibilities Client Relationship Management: the post holder will serve as the main point of contact for clients, establishing strong relationships and understanding their needs, goals, and challenges. You will act as an advocate for your clients within the company and ensure that their requirements are met. Sales and Business Development: You will identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and proactively seek ways to increase revenue by upselling or cross: selling products or services. You will also pursue leads and generate new business in adjacent Defence and Aerospace enterprises Account Planning and Strategy: You will develop account plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and meet client objectives. This will include analysing client data, market trends, and competitive information to identify areas for growth and develop effective strategies to achieve client goals. Customer Support and Issue Resolution: You will address client concerns, inquiries, or complaints promptly and effectively.
