Duties: •Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas. •Assist with carpentry needs including the cutting of wood to specified dimensions and drilling holes in lumbers. •Hold wood and panel in place for fastening or cutting. •Erect scaffolding, assist in framing, and establish reference points and lines. •Assist in joining wooden structures with glue, screws, pegs or nails. •Clean up job sites and assist with lifting heavy materials such as large bags of concrete. •Smooth and sand surfaces to remove marks, glue, or ridges. •Assist carpenter in installing wooden frames or install under supervision of carpenter. •Perform other activities at construction site, as directed.
