Emotional Health and Wellbeing Practitioner needed with Worcestershire County Council Emotional Health and Wellbeing Practitioner needed with Worcestershire County Council Start Date- ASAPLocation – Worcester Duration – Initially 3 months Hours per week – 37 hours a week Salary – £20 ltd an hour Description: Your primary role is to offer direct support to young people or adults using evidence-based skills such as CBT, Counselling, motivational interviewing, or solution focused with the aim of enhancing their emotional health and wellbeing You will be involved in developing packages of emotional support for families, working with your multi-disciplinary colleagues to provide a whole family approach You will complete triage backssments upon requests for emotional health and wellbeing support, and within supervision develop a plan intervention What is required Experience using psychological techniques to support individuals/groups Demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable children, young people and families Evidence of providing structured therapeutic interventions to individuals or in groups Significant experience of backssing, developing, implementing or evaluating interventions Significant experience of working with people with emotional wellbeing and/or mental health needs Level 5 in education in health, social care or equivalent experience Trained in providing structured CBT psychological therapy If you are interested please call Jemma Molloy on 01772 xyzxyz or email me your CV – If this role isn’t right for you, but you know someone who would fit perfectly to our engaged and devoted team and you refer them, you will receive a referral bonus of £250.
