IEG Global is searching for a Social Media Intern to work within IEG’s event team working across all our businesses. Our company has 20 years of experiences in events and is one of the fastest growing media, advertising & events companies. IEG Global run 10 of the most successful awards events in the UK a year. The events team develop, plan and manage all events, partnering across teams, working with editorial, sales and sponsorship, and event production team members, to promote and execute events of various audiences. Responsibilities for the Social Media & Events Marketing Intern include: Social Media: Creating content on event website and on all our platforms (facebook, twitter, Instagram) + Use Scheduling Tools Ideating, creating and posting content to different social media platforms Planning and adhering to content calendars to schedule posts on different social media platforms Optimizing content, tracking user traffic and backssing user response to different content posted Help plan social media campaigns to reach a wider audience, increase brand awareness and drive sales Photography, graphic design and video content creation You will need to be: Fluent in English Excellent verbal and written communication skills Confident Studying a degree in Marketing or Events Management. Available to work for up to 3 months We’d love to see: A positive attitude, enthusiasm and work well under pressure Sociable, friendly, happy to talk to people over the phone and in person Be able to use research and insights to develop creative ideas Be proactive and excited by new challenges Be organised with high attention to detail Flexibility to learn and grow, being proactive and confident in a fast-paced environment Strong telephone etiquette and a professional demeanour Multi-tasking skills Ability to work independently and within a team Comfortable working in a small start-up environment, adaptable and flexible We’ll provide.
