The ideal candidate will oversee case management, lead trial proceedings, and ensure effective firm and client communication.Duties:Attend All Hands Meeting on Mondays at 9:30 am MST (unless otherwise rescheduled)Attend monthly Docket ReviewsAttend weekly Team MeetingsAttend quarterly Performance ReviewsSupervise, delegate, and monitor case managers, litigation paralegals, records department, and investigations.Conducted depositions and attended hearings, conferences, meetings, and tried cases.Move cases along from intake to resolution or filing.Review and sign off on all correspondence, demands, and releases.Report all issues, concerns, or questions to the owners.Requirements:Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado and be a member in good standingMust have 8 years admitted to practice lawMust have 3 years of personal injury experienceMust have first chaired a trialProficient typing skills without grammar or spelling errors are required.Proficiency in the English language is required.Strong social and interpersonal skills.Ability to build rapport and empathize with clients.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Willingness to work with a team, including taking and giving constructive criticism.Ability and desire to treat team members with respect and fairness.Ability to work in a paperless environment.Ability to follow processes and guidelines and to meet deadlines.Interest in learning various technical and non-legal fields to understand the issues in cases.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Colorado State BarSkills:Trial advocacy skillsLegal research and writingCase managementNegotiation skillsAttention to detailTime managementCritical thinkingTeam leadershipConflict resolution
