Your role involves ensuring that heavy equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably to support various construction projects and operations. Below is a detailed job description outlining the key duties and qualifications for this role: Key Responsibilities: Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with heavy plant machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, dump trucks, cranes, and compactors. Servicing: Conduct regular servicing of heavy plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. This includes inspecting and lubricating components, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and performing preventative maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines.
