Aircraft Instrumentation Technician Description: The T-7A Flight Test team is seeking an experienced aircraft instrumentation technician at Edwards AFB. This position will provide support in an aircraft developmental test and evaluation environment while working alongside test and aircraft maintenance personnel. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining a high volume of sensors and associated wiring onto aircraft parts and assemblies per engineering requirements. Sensor types primarily include strain gages, accelerometers, thermocouples, RTDs, and pressure transducers. Experience with TTC data systems is desired. Other responsibilities may include: Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results. Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems. Experience working with airborne instrumentation systems, precision measurement devices (accelerometers, strain gages, thermocouples, flow meters, etc. ) required Project/Skills Supporting the T-7A development test program by maintaining, modifying, and troubleshooting the installed airborne instrumentation system as required. Education / Experience : Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e. g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e. g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc. ). Visit ListedBuy for more information.
