<p><strong>Description:</strong></p><p>The role of a Business Analyst is to partner with Finance and various local and global groups on the delivery of artificial intelligence (AI), insight generation, planning and reporting solutions to Finance. He/she is curious, open-minded and has a strong desire to obtain knowledge and understanding of the business. Through close business partnership and advisory, he/she delivers high quality technical solutions, enhancements, and process improvements. They apply their strong understanding of Finance processes to develop business requirements for solutions that they also execute on. His/her work style heavily involves collaboration and communication with other key players and stakeholders in Technology and Finance across the client company.<br /><br /><strong>Key responsibilities of this role include the following:</strong><br />• Cultivate and foster trusting relationships with business partners in Finance through frequent face to face interactions<br />• Be able to identify opportunities for simplification and automation of Finance processes<br />• Work with Finance partners to translate business requirements into functional requirements and specifications<br />• Influencing business partners to distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs<br />• Analyze and document business processes, workflows and use cases for solution design<br />• Partner with Global IT Solution Center team to ensure requirements for new solutions and enhancements are managed and delivered effectively<br />• For proposed solutions, gather and evaluate information from multiple data sources<br />• Create and maintain solution design and ensure that the final solution meets the customer's needs<br />• Ensure Global IT Solution Center team delivers and maintains operational procedure and solution documentation<br />• Utilize project management skills to develop testing, validation and implementation plans and processes to ensure the solution is fit for purpose<br />• Thoroughly train end-users<br />• Work with Global IT Solution Center team to efficiently troubleshoot issues<br />• Proactively coordinate retrospective sessions to review and capture lessons learned<br /><br /><strong>We are looking for candidates with the following skills:</strong><br />• Strong and quick learning mind-set<br />• Ability to understand the clients’ financial processes and business<br />• Ability to adapt in a dynamically changing business environment<br />• Ability to lead a project<br />• Communicate technical concepts in non-technical terminology<br />• Ability to create work effort estimations<br />• Ability to prioritize, manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously<br />• Good communication and presentation skills both written and verbal<br />• Teamwork and collaboration<br />• Negotiation skills and problem solving<br />• Not afraid to take risks<br />• Lead from every seat<br /><br /><strong>Qualifications of candidates:</strong><br />• 4+ years of experience in business analysis in Finance area<br />• BS/BA Degree in finance, information management, or other related field of study is required<br />• Experience overseeing the building of analytical solutions is required<br />• Experience in SAP Finance, SAP BW reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP S3 and SAP S4 is required<br /><br /><strong>Desired Candidates:</strong><br />• Previous Biotech/pharma experience<br />• Posses project management skills</p><p><strong>Pay Range: </strong>$50 - $69.70/hour</p><p>- Health, dental, vision, 401k</p>
