Speaks Law Firm is looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who can assist our growing team in Charlotte, by taking it to the next level. We are headquartered in Wilmington, NC and have a team of attorneys and legal support in Charlotte. We are seeking that right person who can roll up their sleeves to guide the staff with their knowledge and experience. This role requires the right person to have solid personal injury experience in North Carolina. Duties include, but are not limited to: Maintaining effective communication with attorneys, clients, insurance adjusters, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects Demonstrating key performance indicators and driving tasks to completion with minimal supervisory oversight Maintaining updated lien and balance information in assigned files Communicating with insurance and health adjusters regarding demand packages, policies, liens, and payment logs Verifying client’s insurance coverage and how coverages apply Requesting and reviewing client documents including medical records, bills, and health insurance liens Understanding subrogation and rule 414 payment/adjustments to review liens and balance sheets for accuracy Conducting routine client contact regarding case updates, treatment, coverage investigations, etc. Directly supervising a pre litigation team of four case managers, two legal assistants, and one balance clerk Completing systematic file review of demand packages prepared by your team Managing file count and file rotation within your team Providing consistent support and timely resolution of file issues within your team Completing biweekly 1:1 meetings with your team Ensuring goal and KPI reporting in Performyard Tracking medical management, demand production, and case count of your team Candidate must demonstrate the following skills: Strong organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to effectively communicate and lead a team Understanding of legal language and principles, and other related processes Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to function well in a high-paced environment Enjoy client communication and be responsive and proactive High degree of drive to move tasks to completion Attention to detail Benefits: Paid Time Off (PTO) 3 weeks per year to start. Medical, dental and vision. 401k retirement plan. Salary: $60,000 - $67,000.00 per year Required Qualifications: High school or equivalent Legal case management in personal injury: 3 years minimum (Required) Must be able to work on-site Preferred Qualifications: Paralegal Certificate Needles/Neos case management software experience Prior experience managing/supervising strongly preferred Powered by JazzHR
