Say hello to Mildred!Mildred is a 6 year-old Pitbull mix who weighs 46lbs! Mildred is a sweet girl who warms up quickly after a few yummy treats in order to feel comfortable around new people. She is a true love bug who can't wait to find her forever family. Mildred enjoys a good walk, her toys, and a comfy place to lay down. Mildred can't say no to a good night in. Mildred shows potential to live with dogs in her forever home, but would need a slow introduction as she is very nervous with new dogs. She does not do well with small animals, so she would need a home with no cats or other small animals. Since she can be shy at first, if there are children in Mildred's forever home, we are asking that they are 13 years old or older.If Mildred sounds like she might be a good fit give us a call at 330-487-XXXX ext.226Adoption processAll of our adoptable animals are up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, de-wormed, de-flea and microchipped before adoptions are finalized. All dogs over six months of age receive a temperament assessment by our Certified Professional Dog Trainer to ensure appropriate placement. Also, many animals in our care receive basic obedience training to improve manners and increase adoptability. We are currently doing adoptions by appointment only. Adoption Fees:Dogs6 months or under: $1756 months to 5 years: $1256 years or older (or special needs): $50 Cats6 months or under: $75 (or two kittens for $100)6 months to 5 years: $506 years or older (or special needs): $20 Senior to Senior Program: For adopters age 60 or older, adoption fees are reduced to $15 if the animal is 3 years or older. This service is made possible through the Pets for the Elderly Foundation. You will be asked to provide proof of age.
