Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Bare Base equipment specialist for an CONUS assignment. Duties include:Servicing of customers' Bare Base equipment sets on the job siteOrdering materials, tools and instrumentsPreparing reports and maintaining records on equipment and preventive maintenanceCompleting required paper work timely and accuratelyTroubleshooting equipment failures both in service center and on customer locationsInstalling, maintaining and repairing electronic pneumatic devices related to HVAC controlPracticing and promoting safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, and other required regulationsMaintaining shelter and associated equipment that is supporting a unique bare base operationServicing HVAC and exhaust systems, fan blowers, including filters, lubrications, thermostats, and controls for the entire buildingServicing all building components including all physical, structure and mechanical equipmentPerforming work in confined spaces and climb ladders to perform duties related to work assignmentsOperating a forklift and aerial lift in an efficient mannerReading diagrams, sketches, operations manuals and manufacture's specifications and comprehend information to accomplish assigned tasksMust be willing to work with all typesof equipment including Generators, PDP's, Expeditionary type structures.Must maintain Deployment physical status. Must possess good communicationskills and willing to learn systems outside of the HVAC qualifications. Mustbe willing to train personnel in group setting. Maintaining confidentiality Basic Qualifications: Must have and be able to maintain a valid driver's licenseMust be able to obtain and maintain necessary certifications in refrigeration and HVAC Work well with public as well as with co-workers and willing to listen to othersBe knowledgeable in the use of electrical codes, wiring diagrams, blueprints, boilers, air conditioning systems and hot water heaters along with knowledge of all chemicals used in maintaining of equipmentMust be punctual and follow rulesMust be a self-starter and able to work independently with no or minimum guidanceBetter than average written and verbal communication skills Desired Skills: Troubleshooting and analytical skillsFamiliar with HVAC tools and equipmentVerbal communication and interpersonal skills Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
