Position: Level Design (Unpaid) Location: Remote/Online Job Overview: As a Level Designer, you will be responsible for creating and designing levels for our upcoming game. You will work closely with the game development team to ensure that the levels are visually appealing, challenging, and align with the overall game design. This is an unpaid position, but you will have the opportunity to work on a real game project and receive credit for your work. Key Responsibilities: - Design and create levels for our game using industry-standard tools and software - Collaborate with the game development team to ensure that the levels align with the overall game design and vision - Create and implement puzzles, challenges, and obstacles to make the levels engaging and challenging for players - Test and refine levels to ensure they are balanced and provide an enjoyable gaming experience - Continuously research and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in level design - Communicate effectively with the team and provide regular updates on the progress of level design Requirements: - Passion for gaming and a strong understanding of game design principles - Proficient in level design software such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Ability to take constructive feedback and make necessary changes to improve the levels - Attention to detail and ability to think creatively - Strong time management and organizational skills - Must be able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week Benefits: - Gain hands-on experience in the gaming industry and add a real game project to your portfolio - Opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team - Flexible working hours and the ability to work remotely If you are a creative and driven individual with a passion for game design, we would love to hear from you.
