Registered Nurse Unit Manager - Ware, Hertfordshire Location: Westgate House Care Centre, Tower Road, Ware, Hertfordshire, SG12 7LPSalary: £50,000 to £55,000 p/a depending on experience Hours: 40 hours per week, 8am to 5pm - flexibility required Job type: Full time, permanent Come and make a difference with the team at Westgate Healthcare #Care With Us At Westgate An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Unit Manager to join our team at Westgate House Care Centre in Ware, Hertfordshire. The Unit Manager will support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager with the day-to-day running of the Nursing Home and specifically, with overall responsibility of one unit/floor. You will manage your unit to ensure that the highest achievable standards of care are delivered to residents and that all nursing and care practices are evidence-based and reflect current trends. You will be a hands-on role model and leader for the care team and create an open, positive, and inclusive atmosphere. You will also be expected to demonstrate positive professional practice and development and promote the rights of our residents to lead independent and fulfilling lives. You will be expected to work within the defined company policies and procedures and to adhere to CQC guidelines and other relevant legislative requirements at all times.
