Lead Support Worker Permanent full time 37.5 hours per week. Hampshire (North – see below for location details) Pay £25,000 and great benefits including Health Cash Plan. Our Enhanced support team has been offered additional funding, due to its fantastic outcomes, for a specialist lead in substance misuse. You will work with customers who have been identified as struggling due to their alcohol/drug use, as in need of short term, intensive support by Paramedics, or the Fire Service when they have visited their home due to a crisis. Typical day as a Lead Support Worker (known by us as Coordinator) Working with customers to improve their living conditions. Linking customers to longer term support and agencies in their local community to effect longer term change. Carrying out risk backssments and providing short term support. Working with the Multi Agency Safeguarding team in Hampshire and other Partners Cuppas, chats and catch ups. There’s no rushing from one customer to the next here! Experience of coordinating and backssing customer referrals. The ability to work on your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach. Whilst it is helpful to have your own transport you would be joining a small team who will allocate/organise workload together, so we have a flexible approach to this.
