The Parks/Cemeteries Summer Student is responsible for completing maintenance tasks in Municipal parks and facilities or cemeteries within the operating season including: grass cutting (cutting, trimming and lawn care); flower gardens (planting, trimming and weeding); garbage/recycling collection; special event assistance; equipment operation, general repairs and maintenance; maintenance of trails, sport fields, and cemetery. May be required to work evenings and weekends. Ability to perform physical labour outdoors for long periods of time. Grounds maintenance equipment operation preferred.
