All of these efforts fall under Entergy's efforts to exhibit leadership in the Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) arena, within the supply chain organization. This internship position role will support Supply Chain Diverse, Local Supplier and ESG initiatives. A Student Intern will be a full: time college student at an accredited four: year institution of higher learning. This internship is designed to give college students practical work experience in their field of study. This position is ideal for someone with a major in Supply Chain Management, Environmental or Sustainability Studies, Business, or Accounting. Job Duties / Responsibilities include: Duties will primarily be to assist in supporting and developing special initiatives in Supply Chain around the Local and Diverse Supplier and Supply Chain Sustainability programs. : Assist in implementing the SC ESG strategy and around local and diverse spend in Supply Chain.Support local events and initiatives in the community, virtual trainings and other supplier development events: Assist with supporting sustainability and diverse spend programming: Compile and articulate best practices in supplier diversity and sustainability: Engage with other SC team members and internal/external stakeholders to execute on ESG initiatives.Performing other duties, as assigned by management.
