Founded in 1948 by John Pridgeon and Donald Clay, w e are one of the largest independent, value-added manufacturers and suppliers of automotive stamped and fine-blanked components in the United States. As a Machine Operator you will run various processes to tap, ream, form, sand, or weld components into the highest quality finished parts for our customers. Key responsibilities include: Operate machines to produce parts, such as loading and unloading components Conduct visual inspection of parts to ensure quality Perform duties relating to machine set-up and changeover Troubleshoot machines to ensure both part quality and maximum production levels are attained Participate in, and support, lean initiatives, continuous improvement and problem solving events Qualified candidates will possess the following: An ability to work safely and follow all safety procedures A positive attitude and willingness to support other team members The ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, adhere to strict quality standards, and accurately complete production paperwork An excellent work record (including attendance) Ability to lift 25 pounds Previous manufacturing experience is preferred In return Pridgeon and Clay will provide: A competitive total compensation including a comprehensive benefit plan including premium medical and prescription coverage starting at just $5.00 per week for employee coverage, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and tuition reimbursement.
