Internship Summary: Our company is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Events Intern. In this collaborative, entry-level role, you will get a chance to learn important skills and gain professional experience by providing the Marketing team with support in managing event organization, promotional item development and ordering, and administrative support as well as other projects and duties as assigned. The position is under the general supervision of the Director of Marketing. Applicants should be current students in a 4-year bachelor's degree program, but recent graduates are welcome to apply. This intern should be prepared to work in a very fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing, which will include hands-on experience. Duties & Responsibilities: · Support the marketing team in all event planning of internal and external events · Coordinates event planning process, shipping and receiving of event materials, and managing invoices. · Support sales team in ordering promotional items for their customers and manage these requests · Support marketing team in updating any Marketing Collateral as needed · Manage Marketing closet to ensure promotional items and literature are always in stock · Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor Requirements: Undergraduate student (senior), recent graduates, and graduate student majoring in Sales, Marketing, or Advertising. · Knowledge and experience with Microsoft & Google applications. · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. · Initiative, energy, and the willingness to learn are essential to being successful in this position. · Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. · This internship is designed for individuals who are currently enrolled at an accredited college/university. · Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form with internal and external customers. · Ability to learn different software programs quickly.
