As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager and enthusiastic experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in manufacturing. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive, develop, grow, and optimize the operational infrastructure of the company to support the overall strategic and growth objectives. This includes new equipment and processes, asset, and plant utilization in alignment with our global customer requirements including strategic growth opportunities. The Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Manager is, also, responsible for staying abreast of new manufacturing technologies with a significant focus on advanced manufacturing, process automation and factory management systems, monitoring economic and global industry trends and making proposals to senior management to meet corporate strategic objectives. This position reports to the Director of Ops. What you will be doing: Develop, execute and maintain a comprehensive manufacturing engineering strategy that meets domestic and corporate growth and strategic objectives and provides regular updates to senior management, including updates on people, process/equipment, capabilities and capacity.
