The role Fugro is looking for a Laboratory Quality Engineer to join world class our geotechnical laboratory based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, reporting directly to the Laboratory Quality Manager. The laboratory uses state-of-the-art equipment to test soil and rock samples from our projects around the world. The types of tests performed are classification tests, mechanical testing total and effective stress tests as well as various types of advanced tests, all following international standards such as ISO, ASTM, BS etc. Your role will be to oversee all technical areas of the laboratory’s accredited quality management system, including taking responsibility for equipment calibration and metrological traceability, quality assurance and quality control of testing and ensuring the validity of test results.
