We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate UX Designer to join our dynamic team. As a UX Designer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and evolution of software solutions for our clients. This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US. This role requires travel up to 10% of the time, including attending 1-2 Annual General Meetings per year and potentially visiting customer sites. A valid passport or visa is necessary for travel to Canada. What Your Impact Will Be: Developing human factors design and functional specifications based on exploration and/or research for software application products, including workflow analysis, process modeling, and user interface design. Supporting sales, product management, and development departments by establishing customer needs and user interface requirements. Utilizing iterative development processes and collaborating with a team of professionals to define detailed user interface designs. Using proven human factors methodologies and tools, recommending changes to improve the overall usability of the design or process, and producing products that minimize complexity of use, training, and support. Contributing to the visualization and re-imagination of existing applications by creating wireframe mockups, prototypes, and web-based user interfaces. Planning and executing usability testing with prototypes. Initiating user champion reviews of interface designs. What We Are Looking For: 3+ years of experience designing web, mobile, and desktop applications. Professional knowledge of UI design principles and techniques. Experience using Photoshop or similar image editing software. Experience using Figma or similar UI modeling software. Experience with responsive design. A solid portfolio, which demonstrates.
