Date Posted: 01/11/2024 Req ID: 35631 Faculty/Division: Vice-Provost, Students Department: University Registrar's Office Campus: St. George (Downtown Toronto) Position Number: 00055842 Description: About us: The Business and Administrative Services unit in the University Registrar’s Office has responsibility for the fiscal, human resources, space, and other administrative management for the Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM) portfolio. This unit works collaboratively with Directors and other staff within the SEM portfolio to design and implement coherent administrative solutions to achieve departmental objectives. The Technical Operations unit is responsible for providing advice and support to academic divisions, and VP: SEM management on key processes and systems to support the student experience as well as direct technical and business process support to other VP: SEM units (Student Recruitment, Admissions, Financial Aid, Learning Space Management) to ensure the smooth functioning and continued development of technical systems supporting admissions and student records. Your opportunity: Under the general direction of the Assistant Director, Finance and Administration, and working closely with the Technical services team, the Business Systems Analyst has a key role supporting in the development, improvement, implementation and documentation of administrative processes and procedures for SEM. This position is a technical/business liaison with a focus on the creation and maintenance of various SEM Share Point sites, including business process integration with Share Point and/or with the VP: SEM Hub apps, other bespoke systems and Service Now. This involves extensive collaboration with all unit heads or their delegates in VP: SEM, fact finding and information gathering for design and feedback on public sites (student facing and staff facing) as well as private sites intended for VP: SEM staff only.
