The role would suit a catastrophic injury fee earner, either a Chartered Legal Executive or non-qualified fee earner with significant catastrophic injury/ large loss experience. Sacco Mann are recruiting for a catastrophic injury fee earner to join a leading defendant firm in central Leeds. The role would suit a catastrophic injury fee earner, either a Chartered Legal Executive or non-qualified fee earner with significant catastrophic injury/ large loss experience. The firm, a leader in the catastrophic injury and large loss arena, are on the lookout for several catastrophic injury fee earners to join their expanding team. Responsibilities include: Managing own caseload of approximately 30 catastrophic RTA and ELPL cases valued up to £250,000 and supporting on claims valued in excess of this. Working with the lead lawyer to manage high value complex and catastrophic claims including brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, chronic pain and fatal claims. Maintaining regular contact with clients and third parties and providing an excellent level of client care. Forensic analysis of liability and quantum evidence. Providing ongoing accurate and technical advice. Maintaining regular contact with clients and third parties, achieving the best possible result for clients. Drafting all pleadings to include defences, counter schedules and complex cases. Negotiating settlement and bringing cases to a close. Requirements: Either a Chartered Legal Executive or proven catastrophic injury fee earner without formal qualification who can confidently run a caseload of large loss ELPL and RTA claims valued up to £250,000. Experience supporting lead fee earners on cases valued in excess of £250,000. Experience handling brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, chronic pain and fatal claims.
