Accountant, F/T, Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Related. Examine past and current financial statements and research and calculate forecasted finances that affect the expenditures in providing proposals for areas of improvement and positive management operations as well as preparing tax documents for filing for online marketing and affiliate marketing services company. Seek new ways to improve efficiency and increase profits by reviewing proposed operational and financial plans. Assist in providing guidance and policy for efficient preparation of financial statements and tax documents. Plan and implement financial plans and strategies for company officers and directors based on analyzing financial information. Analyze and manage trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments. Evaluate current financial status by collecting information preparing a balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures for reporting financial transactions. Analyze and complete account reconciliations and financial information. Plan periodic budget reports and advise company officers and directors regarding asset management including planning capital investments, tracking depreciation, and optimal cash levels. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Answer accounting procedural questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations, to apply principles of accounting theory for use in corporate practice. Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions. Prepare and document special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. Analyze sales metrics, margins, and expenses to reduce costs and maximize profitability; Compute taxes owed, prepare corporate tax returns, manage tax withholding from employees; Prepare balance sheets, profit, and loss statements and other financial reports. Analyze current financial status by collecting budget information from various departments.
