We are currently seeking a UX Researcher to join our team in Remote, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA). The User Researcher / Interface Designer position calls for a great deal of versatility including complete understanding of service delivery and highly integrated applications, and the ability toe grasp the challenges of users’ journeys and the principles supporting intuitive design. The primary duties include joining a fast-paced agile delivery team, rapidly grasping the needs of spatial-data-driven application that is highly integrated, has a wide range of users, and delivers real business value. You have the ability to deliver research, insights, designs, mockups, personas, strategy that are prioritized using Agile methodologies, to support all aspects of modern digital applications (such as viewing visually where points of interest lie on a map, combing spatially views with record views, and taking action on candidate points of business interest). You understand services – what data are needed by those needing to use the service and view information, and you have a knack of organizing services to support business capabilities – just the right views with the right business functions / features. UX Researchers / Interface Designers plan, conduct and analyse user-centred research studies to inform and guide the development of scalable digital products ensuring the end product meets user and stakeholder needs. In addition, they are responsible for designing and delivering the user experience and evolving the product vision. What’s Necessary: At a minimum UX Researchers / interface designers are required to have a degree in a design or technology discipline or a related field and two years of related experience; OR a diploma.
