With Master Construction Agreements with industry leaders like Cox Communications, Comcast Cable, Crown Castle, Segra, Suddenlink, Windstream, and RCN, we're committed to ensuring high-speed internet connectivity via fiber optic and Coaxial systems across several states, including Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Washington D.C.About the Position: FNS is looking for enthusiastic individuals interested in learning about telecommunications construction to join our team as entry-level in-house construction support personnel. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills and work alongside experienced professionals in various Aerial and/or Underground Fiber Optic/Coax construction projects. The position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in Fiber Optic and Broadband High-Speed Data construction.Additional long-term training will be available for Aerial and Underground construction to include Management opportunities.Responsibilities: Work with our outside-plant construction teams Perform Construction ground hand, Coaxial splicing, Fiber Optic splicing Work in Public Right-of-Way environments Communicate effectively with team members Be at work every day at 7am Be On-Call for after-hours emergency work occasionally Possess a valid Driver's license Pass a drug screening and background check Speak fluent English Read and understand technical instructions Basic computing skills to include Email clients Lift Weight or Exert Force up to 50 pounds Qualifications: No prior experience is required; we will train qualified candidates High School or G.E.D. education Ability to work outdoors in different weather types Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment Vets are always in the front of the line Hours/Week: 40+; occasional overtime may be requiredCompensation: $13 - $21 per hour, depending on experience.
