Carpenter/Maintenance Technician Dublin School has an immediate opening for an experienced Carpenter and Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will need to have experience in a range of carpentry, handyman, maintenance, grounds keeping, and snow removal and a willingness to do many different tasks on campus. We are looking for a motivated individual who is reliable, skilled, safe, and efficient to join our team. Skills in minor plumbing are a plus. Essential Responsibilities Maintain facilities in a safe, functional, and habitable condition Perform rough & finish carpentry including framing, hanging sheetrock, finishing walls, hanging doors, installing locks, repairing windows, building, and installing shelves and cabinets. Assist with maintaining grounds. Mowing, trimming, and snow removal Interact with faculty, staff, students, parents, and guests in a cordial and professional manner Assist outside contractors when necessary Assist in office, classroom, dorm, and apartment moves and maintenance and set-up Secure the campus, ensuring all buildings are locked/unlocked as required Locksmith duties Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor Must take part in rotating on-call availability Occasional nights and weekends Qualifications Two years of experience in the building/construction trade as a carpenter Must have a valid Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push or pull more than 50 lbs. The ability to work individually with minimal supervision or as part of a team.
