Excelsior Defense is looking for part-time, professional, Armed Security Officers to protect our client's premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control into the property. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report. This post is highly visible and very interactive, the Officer must be prompt with incoming customers, employees, deliveries, etc. and ensure a safe environment with a professional and polite manner.Location is a safe location in the downtown shopping district of Palatka. Starting salary: $17.50hr Post Hours: 7 days per week: 1700-2300, 5pm - 11pm (looking for two or three part-time officers to share this post. Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property Apprehend criminals and evict violators Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences Report in detail any suspicious incidents Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter Monitor and control access at building entrances and common areas Perform first aid or CPR Maintain Access Control Entrance Skills Required: Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position Valid Class D Security License & Valid Class G Security License active with the State of Florida Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols Surveillance skills and detail orientation Integrity and professionalism Detailed Report writing
