This Position may be eligible for Remote and/or hybrid based on customer discretion. Sayres is seeking an experienced SENIOR LEVEL LOGISTICIAN with a SECRET clearance, verifiable in DISS in Washington, DC. Assist in the planning, execution, integration and oversight of all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities and projects; provide ILS expertise to assist in developing innovative process improvements and solutions. Provide expertise in commercial ship, US Navy ship, and FMS requirements pertaining to ship supportability issues including life cycle support as they relate to DoD acquisition policies and procedures and other applicable statutory or regulatory requirements. Provide logistics, technical, and in-depth operational knowledge in MSC policies and procedures as well as FMS policies and procedures. Required: Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, or business management disciplines. 15+ years Navy program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management. Project Management Professional (PMP) for 5+ years. Supervisory experience; experience communicating Logistics concepts to SES/Flag level personnel. Secret Clearance. Preferred: Master's Degree in logistics, engineering, or business management disciplines. Project Management Professional (PMP); Product Support Management Professional 10+ years. 20+ years Navy program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management. Knowledge/Experience in Navy procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Military Sealift Command (MSC) ILS procedures and processes; Foreign Military Sales; Supervisory experience; experience communicating Logistics concepts to SES/Flag level personnel.
