Job Opportunity - Program Manager, Monitoring & Research About the Position : Irvine Ranch Conservancy ( IRC ) has an opening for a full-time P rogram Manager to lead its Monitoring and Research t eam. The Program Manager oversees all the activities within the Monitoring and Research progra m, including supervision of program staff, development and oversight of projects, and coordination with external contractors and partners , including those from the scientific community . They play a significant role in the analy sis , synthesi s , and communicat ion of data to the public, and will have the flexibility to develop new ideas and projects in serv ice of IRC's mission. The Successful Candidate will have a bachelor's degree in environmental science, ecology, or similar required ; f ive ( 5 ) years of experience in a related field; The following experience, skills, abilities, and knowledge are also r equired . : Strong familiarity of the local e nvironment . Strong technical skills including experimental design, data collection and management, monitoring techniques for both flora and fauna, and statistical analysis using R. Experience with p roposal and report writing. Experience managing staff and their performance. Experience developing project and work plans and implementing projects with established timelines and deliverables. Experience participating in collaborative research. Experience with developing and managing budgets. Experience with Microsoft Office 365, particularly working in the SharePoint environment . Salary Range : $ 32.45 - $ 38. 22 per hour ($ 67,500 - $ 79 , 500 per year) About Irvine Ranch Conservancy : Irvine Ranch Conservancy restores, protects, and enhances our closest connection to nature - our local wildlands.
