Housekeeper/Porter Full Time - Days ** Pay rate up to $17.30/hour; based on experience** United Methodist Communities is currently seeking a Housekeeper/Porter for The Shores , our Senior Care Community located in Ocean City, NJ within picturesque Cape May County. The Housekeeper/Porter is responsible to maintain all community floors (carpets and various surfaces) in sanitary, clean, safe and attractive condition. Requirements for a Housekeeper/Porter : High School Diploma or equivalent Some experience in custodial/janitorial position. Responsibilities for a Housekeeper/Porter : Floor care. Dust/clean furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and disinfect equipment including all hallways and all sitting areas. Empties and cleans waste receptacles daily. Cleans and maintains supplies in the restrooms. Moves and arranges furniture, special program set up and equipment as needed. May assist in unloading delivery trucks/monitor back door during deliveries. Appropriate use of cleaning products. Perform floor care on all surfaces. Operate scrubber/Burnisher/Extractor and various housekeeping equipment. Strip and finish floors.
