Job Summary Works with software development teams to expand and improve our software offering and development practices. Works with the architecture team to align our software implementations with our embedded systems to maximize value. Works with product management teams from different business units to determine and document technical specifications for new major Software features, products, and platforms. Develops and presents conceptual and detailed design options to stakeholders as appropriate, clearly communicating advantages and tradeoffs of each option to reach consensus on the most appropriate choice. Works with technical leaders from the development teams to understand and refine conceptual and detailed designs. Develops the abilities of technical leaders through example and direct mentorship. Possesses deep knowledge of modern software development, technology and tools. Understands the lighting controls business and the underlying technologies.
