A clinical decontamination specialist in Aylesford is now looking for a trained Sterile Services Technician to join them in reprocessing vital medical equipment for hospitals across London and the South East. As a Sterile Services Technician, you will be decontaminating and sterilising surgical instruments and endoscopy tools on behalf of both NHS and private hospitals, meaning they can be safely reused during future procedures. The decontamination centre is itself part of an independent medical care network, meaning that you will be eligible to receive both a leading rewards package and private healthcare support at member hospitals when you join the team. Further training and career progression opportunities are available to help you develop in this field, plus additional support provided by the manufacturers of the specialist machines and instruments themselves. With experience and ambition, you will be able to advance towards Team Leader and management positions. This is a permanent, full-time 37.5h Sterile Services Technician role with a rotating pattern of 06.00 – 14.00, 14.00 – 22.00, and 22.00 – 06.00 shifts. Person specification: Essential Previous experience in a decontamination / sterile services unit. Essential Ability to cover rotating shifts including nights, weekends and bank holidays.
