The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate leasing, portfolio management, construction, property acquisition and disposition, real estate financing and investment, real estate joint ventures, and/or development and redevelopment. The candidate should possess solid academic credentials, demonstrate expertise in sophisticated real estate law, exhibit attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a strong work ethic. Additionally, the candidate must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina and have a desire to work collaboratively within a national practice.DutiesHandle corporate leasing matters, including negotiating and drafting lease agreements.Manage real estate portfolios, ensuring efficient and effective portfolio performance.Oversee construction-related legal issues, providing guidance on contracts and disputes.Facilitate property acquisition and disposition processes, from due diligence to closing.Handle legal aspects of real estate financing and investment transactions.Negotiate and draft agreements related to real estate joint ventures.Assist in the legal aspects of real estate development and redevelopment projects.RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience in corporate leasing, portfolio management, construction, property acquisition and disposition, real estate financing and investment, real estate joint ventures, and/or development and redevelopment.Strong academic credentials with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina.CertificationsActive membership in the North Carolina State Bar.SkillsProficient in real estate law with a focus on specified areas.Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.Ability to work collaboratively within a national practice.
