The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent academic credentials, legal abilities, and exceptional writing and research skills.Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance coverage issues.Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings related to insurance matters.Collaborate with clients, insurance companies, and internal teams to develop case strategies.Provide legal advice on insurance-related issues and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution methods when applicable.Stay updated on changes in insurance laws and regulations.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the State Bar of North Carolina or eligibility for reciprocity.Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with a focus on insurance coverage preferred.Excellent academic credentials, with a requirement of being in the top 25% of their law school class.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.Certifications:Active Bar membership in North Carolina or eligibility for reciprocity.Skills:Proficient in legal research tools and databases.Exceptional writing and drafting skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
