Our offices are located on the East Coast of Canada in St. John’s, Newfoundland with a workforce of nearly 250 people and two world class offshore production assets. What role you will play in our team Exxon Mobil is currently recruiting for Operations Technicians with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry. The position is located offshore Newfoundland and Labrador, and will require you to travel offshore via helicopter or supply vessel. What you will do As an Operations Technician, you will be responsible for: • Understanding and abiding by all safety rules and standards, reporting hazards, and holding responsibility for your role in the safe operation of the platform. • Understanding and abiding by all applicable laws and regulations. • Ensuring that Operations achieve sustained reliability while eliminating safety, health, and environmental incidents. • Providing technical and operational expertise within platform operations to achieve specific safety and production goals. • Operation & surveillance of oil & gas process equipment. • Handling normal.
