Responsibilities: Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff Maintain a clean and organized classroom Monitor and backss children's progress and development Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment Utilize computer software programs for administrative tasks Requirements: Level 1, 2 or 3 in early childhood education Time management skills to effectively plan and prioritize tasks Leadership abilities to guide and inspire children Proficiency in computer operations for administrative tasks Strong organizational skills to maintain a well-managed classroom Excellent written and verbal communication skills Job Type: Full-time Salary: $19.67-$25.12 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week Flexible Language Requirement: French not required Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: Halifax, NS B3L 2W4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
