Support Worker - PBS Hull area Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hpw) Pay £12.53 per hour (£22,500 per annum, pro rata) + £50 per sleep in with great benefits including Health Cash Plan Home, a place where you belong We have an amazing opportunity for you to join our fabulous team as a Positive Behaviour Support Worker (PBS). We support our brilliant customers who have autism, learning disabilities, speech, and language impairment along with mental health conditions. Our customers live within their own homes, and we support them to live an independent life. This includes helping with daily tasks for example, keeping their home clean and tidy. Preparing drinks/snacks/meals. Going out in the community to enjoy activities that interest to them. Typical day as our Support Worker Helping our customers live their happiest life through regular interaction with their family and friends and the wider community. Recognising their strengths and abilities and help them take the small steps at their pace, never losing sight of their dreams and aspirations! Support using Positive Behavioural Support model to promote independence and social inclusion through person centred support. Supporting with personal care as some of our customers have complex care needs. Understand professional boundaries, risk backssments and supporting customers to enjoy their best possible quality of life. You bring Experience in a Complex Care setting, with a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care or are prepared to work towards it.
